This was suppose to be my sad face? LOL
Angie Hansel (Charlee's mom) came in and shared about her recent trip to Panama!
Here are some things we learned...
-where Panama is on the globe.
-the explorer Balboa found the Pacific ocean on the other side of Panama.
-the Embera tribe look a lot like the indigenous people who would have lived there when Balboa came from Spain.
-the money looks just like ours except it has pictures of Balboa on it.
-the sand on the beaches is super white and SOFT.
Our original Go The Distance walk got rained out, but we decided to do it the next day!

Our leaders treated teachers to some wonderful things on Thursday!
They took our lunchroom duty AND we had goodies

Marty Luhring stopped by and delivered the flowers to us! Your kindergartner brought one home for their mom for Mothers' Day! We appreciate Luhring Nursery's generosity!

We went to the first grade to see their Famous American play! They were awesome!

FYI again...
No Track and Field Day- A change for the end of the year: Instead of having the school wide track meet we will be starting a new celebration/tradition for the students at the elementary. This will be an "in school" activity, so it will not be open to the public. :)
We painted beautiful flowers on a
watercolor wash!

In Music, we played Bop-It!
You REALLY have to listen and
follow the directions!!

Practicing our School Spirit song!
