Kindergarten News!!
"April showers bring May flowers!"
We kept track of the weather to see just how many rainy days we would get in April! Here are the results!
Yes...eleven days. No...nineteen days!
Luhring Nursery invited us for a visit.
We got a tour of the nursery AND we got to see their animals!
(Larry and Marty Luhring are Dayton's grandparents!)
It was National Cafeteria Worker Appreciation Day on Friday!
We brought our lunch ladies FLOWERS to spruce up the lunch line area AND brighten up their day!
We are learning about seeds and plants!
We planted some grass and will monitor how long it takes to sprout. We will turn it into a silly project once it grows!
We read a fiction book called The Caterpillar's Wish and then a non-fiction book with scientific information about butterflies!
Then we made beautiful butterflies!
We wrote a short little poem about ourselves on it!
Ipad time!
We all got Falcon tattoos because we did so well on
the FAST tests! WooHoo!!
We made flowers!!
We REALLY enjoyed the weather this week!
Mrs. Cooley was at Dance picture day and spotted some kindergarten dancers!!
FYI....will not be having an end of
the year track meet this year. :)
