She is the best kicker in the world! But more importantly...she is known for being kind!
The very, very best “k” word of all...
Kindergarten!!
We read books about being a kid! Then we wrote about what we thought was the best part of being a kid!
Here are a few thoughts!

We made a kite book for Ms K.
The boys and girls designed beautiful kites for Ms. K!
We read the book, Kangaroos In The Kitchen? Then we played a fun memory game...it centered around things you find in a kitchen!
We made dancing Santas!

Some of the boys and girls are wanting to sharpen their crayons!
Feel free to send in a sharpener if you want to!

We read a story about when the reindeer got sick and Mrs. Clause had to make a special batch of hot cocoa to help them feel better! The boys and girls wanted us to put the recipe on the blog! Here it is!

We made beautiful Christmas trees this week!
We really had to be organized in gathering our things. We also had to concentrate on arranging our strips from longest to shortest!
We put them on a bulletin board...it is lovely!

We played a game called Collection Bingo....we used large egg cartons as our game board! It is fun...and great counting practice! Ask your child!

We also played a game called Capture!
Ask your child about THAT too! :)

We paid a visit to Parker Place this week! WE wanted to show KINDNESS to the residents! We made holly name plates for their door. Our hands were the holly!

We wanted to show kindness to Mrs. May and Mrs. Whitmire, too!
So we made more handprints and turned them into wreaths!

Other fun pics from the week!

Teamwork...building a house with dominoes!

Wishing Claire well on her next treatment!

A lovely thought...
“Children are like flowers! Someone needs to be their keeper! Someone needs to nourish and fertilize them so they grow. Someone also needs to admire their beauty!”
