We met Mr. Gg! He has a very tricky sound! Mr. G did not put his gum in the garbage can so he ended up with gooey gum in his hair!
We read Green Eggs and Ham and practiced the color word green!
We did a writing probe this week to see how the kids are progressing on their writing skills! The boys and girls wrote for a full 30 minutes! Wow!
We also learned about how to make our writing easy to read!
Looking over past work...we have grown SO MUCH as writers!!
In Math, we reviewed the 3D shapes!
We also worked on graphing!
Mr. Gg helped us learn about taking good care of our Earth by putting garbage in its place...AND by not making so much garbage!
We had our final Caldecott vote...and the winner is...

For reading time learned about and practiced reading with a partner!
We had to remember things like sitting side by side, putting one book in the middle, see-saw reading (taking turns), reading the pictures and the words, rereading to learn more, and adding pinch of you!!

In Art, we made gingerbread necklaces.
