We enjoyed our time with Ms. P. this week.
She has a cool country western song about her pointy patches!
We read lots of stories about pizza! Yum! Then we each colored a piece of pizza that showed our FAVORITE! Then we put the pieces together to see how many WHOLE pizzas we had!
We read a story called, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, about a donkey named Sylvester who finds a magic pebble. We talked about what we would wish for if we had a magic pebble.

We made “Puzzled People” this week. Children got a 5 x 7 photo of themselves, which they had to cut up into 4 or 5 pieces. Then they had to mix ‘em up good and put themselves back together!! Then they glued them down for the final product....they are so cute!!

We have started learning about patterns! Patterns repeat over and over again. We will make real-life patterns with people, sound and movement patterns with our bodies! Help your child look for patterns around you.
We did more writing this week!
Our lesson focused in on how professional writers add more pages so they can tell more about their topic. Many of the kindergartners have started to write books!
We read stories about pets! We talked about what pets NEED!
Then we figured out what pets the letter people have.
Ms. A has an ant farm. Ms. T has a toucan. Ms. P has a parrot.
Mr. M has a mouse. Ms. S doesn’t want to have a pet.
Conference notes were sent home on Wednesday!
Please send them back by NEXT Wednesday! Thanks!
We read, Pancakes, Pancakes, by Eric Carle. Then we made pancakes! We used the recipe of Marlys Dieken!
